ABOUT

We start with an observation:
The clinical research industry faces a challenge. Globally, populations are becoming much more diverse and many of these groups are disproportionately affected by chronic diseases and underrepresented in clinical trial participation.

The challenge:
Underrepresentation of people of colour has resulted in researchers extrapolating trial data from white study participants and applying that data to people of colour. However, scientific evidence indicates that certain drugs have different effects on different ethnic groups which could affect adherence, outcomes and even the patient’s survival.

Trialbee recognised this and appointed The Mission to create an exhibition for one of the keynote clinical trial conferences in the United States that clearly put people from diverse populations at the heart of their presence.

The solution:
Augmenting the brand’s positioning, we crafted a simple but striking visual layout for SCOPE that utilized a community honeycomb platform for expression to incorporate a diverse trial patient profile.

Created in twenty21, the exhibition reflected and addressed a topic that is now being much more widely discussed within the clinical research industry.
