ABOUT

Background:
The Translational Microbiome Research Forum is an online resource for scientists engaged in translational microbiome research to access current, topical information and to provide a platform to exchange knowledge and ideas.

Concept:
Creation of an intelligent brand identity that engages with a small but highly specialist audience based worldwide. The brand identity sets out with purpose to demonstrate multiple points of overlapping interest and expertise for scientists engaged in translational microbiome research.

Adopting a colour palette that actively incorporated assets from the brand identities of all the leading participants in the area, the objective was to create an inclusive environment where scientists could discuss the topic, challenge ideas and collectively, solve problems.

Results:
Primarily created to build for an online community, the identity subsequently evolved across multiple channels and became an engagement touchpoint for scientists to further research through collaboration - benefiting not only the organisations they work for, but the human race.
