ABOUT

Every year we encourage our creative teams to explore new disciplines and support them in developing and refining their skillsets. This includes access to some of the best training courses in the world and dedicated time every week to hone new skills. It’s all part of our belief that a curious mind is the foundation to creating great work.

At the heart of our Curious Minds initiative is a go-for-it policy that gives every team member the freedom and opportunity to select areas for development that interest them. It allows them to explore and better understand other creative disciplines and how to use them in their own creative process.

One area that we have seen a lot of interest in from the team has been the potential for AI as a tool within the creative process.

When Emer joined us in 2021, she had never watched a Star Wars movie. Twelve months on and embracing our Curious Minds initiative and perhaps worn down by the constant Star Wars conversations in the studio, Emer has created a striking set of Stormtrooper inspired porcelain helmet images using AI and her own design skills.

Curious Minds is not just about learning practical and technical skills. It also encourages each of us to open our minds to new influences and perspectives outside of our normal comfort zones and spheres of influence. When we dive into new topics, it helps us grow as people and creatives.
