ABOUT

For much of my career, I believed my role as a founder was to build a business. Over time, I've come to see the business as the outcome rather than the objective. The real work is building people.

I've always been fascinated by the connection between personal growth and creative excellence. The strongest creative organisations aren't simply collections of talented individuals; they're environments that help people develop confidence, judgement and ambition. The quality of the work is often a reflection of the culture that surrounds it.

Great ideas rarely emerge from certainty. They begin with curiosity, experimentation and the willingness to take risks. That only happens when people feel trusted, challenged and supported. Creating those conditions has become a defining part of my approach to leadership.

I see the founder's role less as the hero of the story and more as the person responsible for shaping the environment: setting standards, building trust, encouraging growth and creating space for people to do their best work. When individuals are given opportunities before they feel completely ready, they often discover capabilities they didn't know they possessed.

This belief has shaped every team, business and project I've been involved with. While I'm proud of the work we've created and the recognition it has received, I'm most proud of the people who have grown through the process—those who found their voice, expanded their potential and went on to achieve things beyond what they initially thought possible.

For me, that remains the most meaningful measure of success: not simply the business you build, but the people you help develop along the way.
