The Brooklyn Brothers have appointed Duncan McRobb to the role of Managing Director of the London office, with immediate effect. In his new role, McRobb takes responsibility for the day-to-day running of the agency both operationally and commercially. Duncan's previous roles provide him with the perfect experience to take the helm at The Brooklyn Brothers. He joins the agency from Academy Films, Campaign's Production company of the year 2014 and 2016, who he joined in September 2014 as Managing Director of their content division, working on productions for Beats by Dre, Google, Nike, Net-A-Porter and Channel 4's rebrand.

Duncan's previous experience includes, President of Exposure's USA division for 5 years, whose client base included Nike, PlayStation, Coca-Cola, G-Shock, Microsoft and Dr. Martens which picked up various awards at Cannes. Duncan has also previously run the BBC account at RKCR / Y&R for 2.5 years across Future Media, News, Entertainment and Sport, including winning a BAFTA for the BBC Winter Olympics Campaign.

Duncan McRobb said: "I'm super excited to be joining a truly pioneering agency, who are uniquely structured to offer a perfect fusion of earned media and marketing thinking. It not only reflects the diversity of my experience and passions, but most critically the opportunity to think beyond the traditional silos and express ideas that are truly agnostic and innovative."

Duncan replaces current Managing Director Jessica Binns who joined the agency in 2014 and leaves to focus on consultancy projects between the U.K. and the U.S. in preparation for a possible family move to the U.S. where her husband is an anchor on the NBC Today news programme.

Jackie Stevenson, Founder and Global Managing Director said: "We wish Jess all the best in her next chapter, she did a great job helping us build the London agency. We feel so fortunate to have found Duncan to replace her to help us write the next chapter. He has the perfect creative pedigree with a background that blends Advertising, PR, Experiential & Production beautifully. We're really looking forward to working together."

George Bryant, Founder & Executive Creative Director said: "As our clients' needs evolve rapidly, Duncan's unique skill set makes him a brilliant partner in the creation of bold, modern Brooklyn-style ideas."

The agency had a busy 2017 launching the world's first immersive in-flight experience for Icelandair, partnering with Castrol and Universal's The Fate of the Furious for an action packed fifth Titanium trial, creating a SXSW style Tech Festival 'Engineering with Humanity' for Jaguar Land Rover, creating the world's hardest Karaoke song for Inspired by Iceland and socially selling 1499 brand new MINI GT special editions in 1499 minutes.
