Concept:
Having worked with Barbican in 2018 to create a series of 12 short films, in-line with their programme, we were excited to work with them again on their 2019 programme, themed 'Life Rewired'. This was Barbican's second editorial content series and we created a series of 12 films around the theme, with a new short film released each month, which explored a different element of technology and the impact it has on our lives, from live-action to documentary to animation, we explored the topic through a range of mediums.

Execution:
We took on the brief and used our network to find 12 emerging filmmakers, each of whom developed a treatment and had the opportunity to work with us to create a film for the Barbican.

The diversity of our network meant the subject matters ranged from our obsession with technology to Cultured Meat to cyborgs and so much more.

The content lives across Barbican’s digital media and was also shown with The Smalls Short Film Festival in September 2019. The series also gathered PR from the British Journal of Photography.

Results:
12 x short films for online; Instagram assets and filmmaker interviews. The series has received over 80k organic views on Facebook, 30k on Instagram and 10k on YouTube.
