ABOUT
G Revolutionary Food For The Future: a food product proposal which dynamically sources organic algae into nutritional, sustainable and ethical soups that can be consumed anywhere at any time by anyone.
The global population is forecast to exceed 10 billion by 2050, leading to extreme pressures on land sources to generate food. My proposal is set to close the gap of 48% of vegetable importations, using the resources of our land, recycling products and combing a healthy and sustainable product for our future food system.
G Revolutionary Food For The Future proposes to create nutritional and ethical food using inshore algae farms from abandoned quarries. Algae provides a large number of proteins and vitamins whilst also focusing on locally grown produce, to decrease the UK’s vegetable importation rate and improve our planet's food security.
Using soups would be a first step to the market for people to gain high nutritional value and convenience in their day-to-day lives. The G stall would be placed in heavy-footed trafficked areas, such as Borough Market where lunchers can quickly grab a quick and nutritious lunch.
This product proposal aims to collaboratively work with Pret A Manager, with 273 stores in London, it’s one of the most foot-trafficked stops for London’s lunchers. To expand the product this collaboration would feature its own soup dispenser in the central food shelves. With three flavoursome and nutritional soups. The product can be poured and dispensed into your own container or one of the recyclable G containers within the store.
