ABOUT
People who make iron roads Totetsu Kogyo is a comprehensive construction company that utilizes the expertise of railway-related construction established at the request of the former Ministry of Railways for the purpose of maintaining and strengthening railways. This is a sign plan of a comprehensive training center built for the inheritance and improvement of highly specialized and unique history and technology, and human resource development. The design motif is the rail, which is the identity of Totetsu Kogyo, which develops railway-related businesses. Due to space restrictions, a rail design was applied to the flow line to the room placed in the blind spot, and it was planned to be an affordance for space movement. We also tried to use rails for facility name signs and staircase members so that we could feel the uniqueness of the company. The accommodation room on the 2nd floor is designed to work with the card key by assigning the line color of the area under the jurisdiction of Totetsu Kogyo to each room. The card key is a mechanism that allows you to draw various types of tracks depending on the combination. It was designed with the thought that it would be a space where trainees can take pride in their work and learn by themselves.
