As a designer, Laura's work is inspired by everyday stories, researching, and creative expression. In the vast digital landscape, it is important for Laura to remain human-centered.
Laura Snider is a Bachelors Degree Studio Fine Arts (Sculpture + Interaction/Gamification) and a Masters of Digital Experience Innovation 2017 graduate from the University of Waterloo. Based in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Laura has a global client base. Projects include working with IBM: Watson Analytics in Cognitive Marketing using AI, Project Manager to University of Waterloo Hybrid Media Professor Jane Tingley's project anyWare, Digital Implementation Specialist for Viessmann Manufacturing Inc.
Local community initiatives include educator at Button Factory Arts as well as ongoing independent collaborative artistic and community engagement projects. Art$Pay is a platform for local artists to access tools, resources, and mentorship as well as connection and engagement with other industry partners looking to connect. As a partner with Art$Pay Laura optimizes databases, analytics, content strategy and digital marketing initiatives.
Laura uses design thinking processes to develop digital marketing and content strategy , user research and user interface (UX/UI), and professional project management in any project.
