The Chase Films had the pleasure of producing a mammoth JD Sports’ winter campaign in 2020. The ‘undisputed King of Trainers’ were not only looking to shoot a Christmas ad, but the gigantic set would act as a playground to capture a multitude of brand content, with a slick, stylised look and feel that best showcased the well-known sportswear retailer and its brands.

The cast consisted of some of the UK’s biggest household names in music, sports and TV, who donned the latest athleisure apparel against intricate winter wonderland backdrops. This large-scale production included major set builds across two major cities, a 200+ crew and extensive, detailed logistics to handle the many moving parts and multiple talent to shoot. 

The success of the campaign extends beyond the response the hero spot received over the Christmas period, as the range of additional content we were able to achieve from a multi-day commercial shoot, provided JD and its brands with consistent marketing material that held up for the new year and beyond.
