CONCEPT
Crocs™ were launching their NYC flagship store on 34th street on the same day as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The challenge called for an original, culturally connected creative response, that would cut through the market, take over the city, dominate IRL, (D)OOH social platforms and influencer feeds... whilst also dramatically increase sales on opening day… all during the world’s biggest parade was in action!!


EXECUTION
Build an original, social-first narrative, that brought Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade… right to the front door of the new Crocs store!
Larger-than-life Crocs balloons, floated above 34th Street… and then floated away on their own accord! Our missing balloons broke the internet.
“WHERE ARE THE CROCS BALLOONS?” said social media. Influencers filmed the spectacle… global audiences shared our viral VFX moments… and accompanying OOH and print-based activations complimented the event!
Crocs blurred reality in the middle of NYC’s most crowded cultural moment.
The flagship store opening didn’t wait for foot traffic — it paraded it inside, turning a store launch into a headline-stealing celebration of comfort and excitement. The creative campaign response (solution) ensured Crocs became THE spectacle… on a day that typically wouldn’t be about them!

RESULTS:
Record-breaking sales... 10,000,000+ views and 150,000+ likes across social platforms… thousands of newspapers handed out (with surprise giveaways inside!) and over 9,000,000+ New Yorkers in AWE of an epic Crocs’ balloon event, that was visualised IRL, on their streets.
