Concept
BYSTANDER explores the split second in which we witness harassment and must decide whether to intervene or remain silent. Across four recognisable scenarios - a bus stop, locker room, online gaming session and workplace - the film asks audiences to confront the anxiety, fear and responsibility contained within that choice.

Execution
Restrained performances, tightening compositions and an escalating soundscape draw us into each bystander’s internal conflict. Produced for UN Women UK and Media Trust on a micro-budget of just £2,500, the film relied on the passion and generosity of its cast and crew to deliver a cinematic, emotionally charged campaign.

Results
The film sparked widespread conversation around bystander intervention and received significant industry recognition, including a Creative Circle Bronze, 4.5 stars from David Reviews and Best of the Week in Lürzer’s Archive. It was also shared by NBA Hall of Famer Ray Allen. It has become the most viewed video in UN Women UK's history.
