B&W Film - My First Love

Our Countryside Wrapped in Wire. – This body of work is ongoing and was inspired while shooting “Film REvisited” – during the seven months it took to gather material for “Film REvisited” - I became fascinated with our countryside and the countless farm gates that promised a ‘hidden’ farmhouse somewhere beyond. And of course, farms that were fenced in by endless wire. There is a real intrigue driving for days and months and witnessing a country almost totally wrapped in wire.

* Pertinent details are pencilled on the reverse of each handprint.
* Limited editions are autographed and numbered from, 1–5.
* Each Silver-Gelatin handprint displays my unique emboss mark.
* Framing is not undertaken nor, are 'courier costs' included in the price of an original handprint.

I utilise the "ProPhoto AirS Lighting System" to achieve desired 'working-apertures' and as 'fill-light' in shadow details. I often apply B&W Filters for contrasting enhancements, primarily skies. Prime Lenses are a must for all my B&W photography, whether shooting on location or, portraiture.
