Cape Town’s beach huts are fashioned out of wood and positioned above the high–watermark. Traditionally used for changing into and out of swimming costume and safekeeping of personal belongings. Less so nowadays, however, the beach huts have become an iconic part of Cape Town’s coastal landscape. Sadly many are worse for wear – I shudder to think if they will be around for very much longer… I've decided to upload this collection of images as an ode to quaint and delightful huts that I've grown up alongside and feel it's time I capture their intrigue...
