ABOUT
The Somerset brand engaged Norwich-based Quickfire to migrate their store to Shopify and briefed The Armoury to redesign the UX and look and feel for the new platform.
The previous site was visually quite dark, and the brand was keen to brighten it up, and bring its south western roots to the fore. We used a brighter colour palette, and threaded some of the natural elements core to the brand's story throughout the site. We also injected energy through the use of dynamic product imagery, 'exploding' with ingredients and nature.
The product pages were given more depth of information to help the customer with their selection, including tasting notes, a brew sheet and a 'paired with' element.
Working alongside our partner, Quickfire, and Wild Beer Co, we delivered wireframes and design concepts, and supported the rollout across the new site.
Quickfire director, Nathan Lomax, said, "The Armoury did what the Armoury always do. They delivered a range of concepts that really stretched the client's thinking and thought process. We love the way they are constantly thinking outside the box. We settled on a design that everyone could be proud of and the end result is speaking for itself. Significant uplifts in conversion and performance and a very happy client."
James Davey, strategy and marketing director at The Armoury says, "We're always proud to work in collaboration with any agency, and we've worked alongside Quickfire on a number of sites in the past year [including Blakely Clothing]; they're great to work with and we look forward to continuing our partnership into 2022."
