About me

Let me introduce about myself shortly. I am a fresh graduate as a Footwear and Accessories Designer. In University, I gained very good results and received compliments from tutors and technicians. Recently, I won the “Best of Degree Show Awards 2011” given by Coventry University.

About Industry experience, I had a two weeks work experience with George House, Accessories Department in 2010. During that time, I designed prints for fabrics and one of the designs was actually on the market for sale. It was called “cherry print bag”. After that, I accomplished a three month placement in Saigon Shoes Joint Stock Company, Vietnam .The company manufactures sport and flat shoes for Bata Corporation. I worked in the Technical Office where I was developing patterns and I also took part in the production lines to gain a deeper knowledge of how shoes are made from the beginning to the final products. At that time, The Company decided to make its own designs for local market to sell. It was interesting how I used my knowledge to help them with computer programs, photo shoots and marketing campaign.

The summer work experience gave me a good awareness of Fashion Trends and Product manufacturing.
In both University and Industry, using well computer design programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator helped me to effectively communicate among staffs with visual boards.
