About me

I previously ran the Multimedia Production department at Videotel, the world's leading training provider for the maritime industry. As the leader of the content development teams, I am responsible for ensuring that Videotel continues to provide accurate and relevant computer-based training material that satisfies our customer's need for technical, legislative and soft-skills course material.

My teams are distributed globally with two based with me at our London office, another seven in Delhi and two in Manilla. My primary function is to manager the busy and varied workstreams and to oversee the quality and testing of our titles. The role of manager varies from project managing, working with FTSE 100 companies to produce bespoke training to working with writers, subject matter experts (SMEs) and setting up and managing project specific steering groups. I also lead on learning design and innovation with an influential role in R&D and VR development.

In addition, the teams create the majority of Videotel's promotional videos and provide an additional resource to the video production arm by way of illustrations and animations.

Illustration
The bulk of my illustration work is generally geared towards children's literature and picture books. However, I have had extensive experience producing content for various e-learning products (including the Edexcel BTEC National onscreen assessments), business to business presentations, internal communications (including info-graphics and newsletters) and for technical and diagrammatic purposes.

My style is quite adaptive. The majority of my work tends to be hand-drawn but I do enjoy breaking out Illustrator from time to time.
