For the 2024 Esztergom Lantern Parade, a visually compelling Japanese-themed raft was designed, combining meticulous graphic design, 3D layout planning, and SketchUp modeling to create an immersive experience. The final concept centered around Mount Fuji, integrating atmospheric effects and dynamic structures for maximum visual impact.
The primary challenge was to create a compelling and immersive Japanese-themed float that aligned with Suzuki’s brand identity while ensuring high visibility and artistic impact. The design needed to be structurally feasible for the floating platform, incorporating dynamic visual elements and atmospheric effects.
After considering various ideas, including a Japanese garden and sumo warriors, the design team chose Mount Fuji as a focal point. The mountain was created using an external material, a hollow solution, to house a smoke machine, enhancing the illusion of Fuji's iconic volcanic mist.
