ABOUT

Concept
To create a thumbnail for Bisexual Week for ParaPride LinkedIn, I first brainstormed ideas that would represent the intersection of disability and LGBTQ+ communities. I wanted the thumbnail to be visually appealing, inclusive, and informative. I decided to focus on the theme of "Visibility and Intersectionality" to highlight the experiences of bisexual individuals with disabilities.
I used design software to create the thumbnail (Photoshop), incorporating the ParaPride logo and colours for consistency.
I included text that highlighted the importance of Bisexual Week and the experiences of bisexual individuals with disabilities. The messaging aimed to educate and raise awareness while promoting a sense of community and support.
I ensured that the thumbnail was accessible to individuals with visual impairments by including alternative text (alt text) that described the image. This would allow screen readers to convey the content to users who are unable to see the image.

The final thumbnail effectively represented the theme of "Visibility and Intersectionality" for Bisexual Week. It received positive feedback from the ParaPride community and helped raise awareness about the experiences of bisexual individuals with disabilities.
