At long last, it’s arrived! www.tdrcreative.co.uk

The Drawing Room team can finally announce the launch of our shiny, new website!

With champagne bottle (aka well-worn coffee mugs!) clinked gingerly against the hull, her name announced with moderate volume from the docks (of Birmingham?) and engines set to ‘cautiously optimistic’, the good ship TDR sets sail toward new horizons.

It’s certainly been a long time in development, largely due to the exhaustive and entirely self-imposed criteria we placed upon the project, but we’re finally there… or thereabouts. That is to say, we’re happy with how things have turned out, but we’re not about to rest on our laurels!

The turning point in the creation process and the moment at which we began to see signs of real progress occurred when we were handed a rather apt piece of advice by a very helpful and insightful web designer, and that was to simply treat the website as an ongoing project; it is a philosophy that we intend to keep in mind as we move forward. As things stand, what we have created is a website that very much achieves our primary goal of establishing a new identity and image for The Drawing Room, one that we feel is befitting a company with forward-thinking intentions. It also does a good job of highlighting the kinds of things that make up the bread and butter of what we do in a clean and user-friendly format. Though at some point, upon reflection of this fledgeling period, we may discover minor elements that we feel could do with a tweak here and there, for now we’re very pleased with the fruits of our labour.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Glyn Davies at Brilliant Truth for his unending patience, excellent advice and total wizardry over all things ‘web’ for helping us to implement all the features, sub-features, micro-features and nano-features that we set our sights upon.

We hope you enjoy visiting our website and that you’ll come back regularly to see what we’ve been up to. Better still, we’d love for you to sign up to our newsletter, which will—as is our intent, at least—contain only relevant content and interesting features. We really do value your opinion, too, so please do feel free to get in touch with any comments or suggestions, we’ll strive to take it all on board.

If you’ve taken the time to read this then you’re already one of our favourite people, so we thank you and hope you will continue to follow us.

Sincere best wishes from The Drawing Room team.
