ABOUT
When Carlsberg needed our help to launch Somersby in the UK, transition into the new market was seamless. When they approached us to develop a new sub-brand for Norway – a dark market – our robust brand architecture and visual identity smoothed the way.
That sub-brand was Double Press, a name devised by us to communicate a cider that contains twice as many apples as its closest competitor. Represented by a witty visual mnemonic, Double Press is depicted via two apples overlapping to create a juicy droplet.
While driving equity back to the Somersby core brand, the apple droplet logo is able to stand alone – instantly recognisable and understood without even needing the name.
