About me

An excellent communicator, my key skills lie in writing, editing, proofreading, project management and research. I have a range of experience from working on educational, consumer and business publications and websites, including magazines, academic journals, brochures, press releases, case studies, newsletters, e-bulletins, prospectuses, annual reports and intranets. Having worked as an editor, communication lecturer and research coordinator in my home country of New Zealand and as an editor of academic journals here in the UK, I am skilled at turning complex prose into captivating copy. More recently, as Publications Editor at the London College of Communication, I project managed the publication of the College's publications, as well as writing content for the College's website. I have also written and edited marketing and communications strategies and given advice on house style, branding and communication channels and mediums.
