Tabby Caton-Rose Freelance 2D Animator and Visual Development Artist

Commissioned by the BBC; this animation illustrates how coronavirus has impacted us all, but as a community it has only made us stronger, even though we have to keep our distance.

After finishing my degree in 2020, I had to opportunity to work on an animated short film about the Coronavirus commissioned by the BBC. I initially worked on character designs, and then moved on to 2D Animation for the majority of the project. The film, from idea concepts to finished animation, was made in 5 weeks with a team of around 20 who were all students from Falmouth University.

This film recently won Best Overall Film at the NAHEMI/Canon Student Filmmaking Competition.
