A visual philosophy of fate, transformation and conscious choice.
Divine equations is about recognising the patterns we are given and discovering where choice begins.
We enter life carrying a particular constellation of tendencies, fears, desires and potential. Some of it is conscious; much of it remains repressed and hidden, shaping the patterns through which we move.
But a pattern is not a prison.
The work follows an inner movement from unconscious potential toward conscious choice.
At the crossroads, the figure faces the first essential choice: to remain within the familiar patterns of the unconscious, or to turn inward and begin the process of becoming.
The unopened flower and the moon suggest something dormant within us — a potential that exists, but has not yet found its form. The cage speaks of fears and unconscious limitations. The labyrinth reflects the experience of moving through repeating patterns without finding an exit, while the ouroboros reflects the tendency of unconscious patterns to repeat themselves.
At the centre, the heart becomes the axis of the entire system — a symbol of inner truth, desire and conscious alignment. It is the point where everything that has been discovered within begins to inform the direction we choose.
To leave the cycle requires more than simply finding another direction. It requires turning inward — confronting what has been hidden, working through the shadow, and allowing an old form of the self to transform.
The phoenix represents this transformation: the death of an old form and the emergence of something new. The woman holding the heart represents conscious alignment with oneself — the moment when inner truth becomes a choice, and the heart becomes a guide rather than simply an emotion. The pomegranate, appearing after this transformation, becomes the fruit of that process: potential brought into form, something made whole through experience.
And at the end, the path opens.
Not because destiny has finally revealed the correct direction, but because the journey inward has brought the person closer to knowing and becoming who they are — toward the realisation of their potential and a more integrated self.

The Latin inscriptions reinforce the central idea:
ELECTIO FATUM FORMAT — Choice shapes fate.
LIBERUM ARBITRIUM — Free will.
NOSCE TE IPSUM — Know thyself.
VERITAS TEMPORIS FILIA — Truth is the daughter of time.
LIBERTAS IN CORDE — Freedom in the heart.

The title Divine Equations refers to the invisible forces, patterns and choices that shape the course of our lives — an equation between what we are given, what remains unconscious, what we transform, and what we choose to become.
Fate provides the coordinates. Choice draws the path.

The artwork was conceived as a silk carré — a wearable art piece combining symbolic illustration, mythology, astrology and contemporary visual storytelling.
The square format allows the narrative to function both as a complete composition and as a collection of individual symbolic scenes. The central system, surrounding medallions, celestial diagrams and ornamental borders are designed to reveal different layers of meaning as the carré is unfolded, worn or viewed in detail.
The design could translate naturally into a luxury silk scarf, limited-edition textile piece, fashion accessory or collectible art object, while also functioning as a standalone artwork.
