ABOUT

CRESCENT is the story of Emma Hamilton, an urban study specialist in London who becomes obsessed with Park Crescent, the crescent outside Regent's Park. A loner who has a history of concentrating on minutiae, she heads a grant proposal that ensures the historical status of her beloved crescent, which is to be evaluated by brash grid-oriented New Yorker, Nick Clarke. With the lone voice of a street singer/caller as her subconscious, Anna tries to make her fascination with the layout and history of London understood by her friends and Nick Clarke. When a new grant to study squares in urban design is given to her, she leaves the smallness of maps and historically titled streets for implementing her ideas of urban design in the grids and the open spaces of Manhattan.

CRESCENT was shot in PAL format in London and converted to NTSC with original music by Mick Sands.
