Watch what we do at YEP | Your Event Planner. YEP is a London-based firm who specialises in planning and styling luxury weddings and events both in UK and worldwide. These are just a few behind the scene events/ shoots that we have done in the past.
Video 1 - we had the pleasure of styling a shower in the Li Room of the Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard. This now iconic building speaks for itself. Standing at nearly 310 metres high, there was really no other theme to go for than being “up in the clouds”. As we had been asked to style this event, we had to conceptualise decor for a gift table, centerpieces and a feature corner. The Li room is very intimate and we were conscious not to overfill the room so there would be enough space for the guests to move around comfortably. Afternoon Tea was being served, so we had to make sure there was room for this as well.

Video 2 - Our concept for the shoot is ‘Turn Negative Into Positive’ setting the shoot in an abandoned chapel that had been destroyed in the bombing of WWII. We want to show that pure love can still be found in something that has been broken and made dark – to go with the whole saying of ‘take something once destroyed and making it new'. We want the story to flow as the engagement celebration continues on to the morning after. Getting pampered by having breakfast in bed creates the intimate and dreamy feel we are going for – to portray how a couple feels after getting engaged. With this shoot, we will be doing more detail shots of the accessories that go along with this shoot – dress, suit, ring, shoes, breakfast, plates, cups etc etc. We want the re-create the feeling of having a ‘night to remember’ following on from having a proposal and engagement dinner celebration a couple will always look back on fondly.
