About

Opening its doors in Kensington in 2013, Dirty Bones was a concept to bring NYC-inspired food, mind-blowing cocktails and classic hip-hop, funk and soul music all under one roof. Four quick years later the Dirty Bones vibes had spread, expanding to four venues across London with a fifth opening in Oxford, tying in with the new website launch.

Having built and maintained the original Dirty Bones website we were appointed to design and build the new site following their rebranding.

Over the four years the brand had matured extensively and what were grungy hand drawn graphics and ratty textures were to be replaced with clean minimal designs, complemented with strong lifestyle imagery to clearly show what Dirty Bones is all about. This coupled with subtle zooming on banner images and parallaxing content throughout creates an extremely immersive user experience.

Not only did the site design need to allow the new brand to shine through but needed to accommodate content for five venues as well as have the capacity and foresite to allow for future venues, take online bookings through a styled third party widget and provide easily consumable content such as menus, all of which are easily content managed through the CMS system.
