This piece was created for Christmas.

The idea came from a photograph of a dressed-up Santa riding a bike to deliver his gift. I then speculated on what a real Santa’s magical bike could look like.

The process was a great fun, I looked at many Christmas food, decoration and gifts as references. Then many iteration of design were carried out with pen and paper. Once most of the design has been worked out, I started modeling, lighting and texturing in 3D Max. A lot more details were then been added in.

The lighting style was referenced to Thomas wrede. It was my first time playing with Corona renderer, and it worked really well in this project.
