In 2021, I worked on contract as a Content Writer for the Department of Health and Social Care, embedded within the Inclusive Design Department. Shortly after joining, I was promoted to Studio Manager for the Print Department, expanding my role to include leading designers and delivering large-scale print communications.

One of our standout projects was the creation of a brochure for COP26 in Glasgow. I led a team of three designers, including Senior Designer Andrew Beswick. I developed and structured the written content, while Andrew led on visual direction, graphics, and overall design.

The brief involved a large volume of complex stakeholder information, which we collaboratively shaped into a clear, accessible, and engaging publication. Despite the scale and pace of the work, the project was a genuinely joyful creative experience for the whole team.
