Studio Nuts was challenged by Papercut Films and Memac Ogilvy to help bring IKEA’s Affordable Masterpieces campaign to life. Our role focused on the meticulous digital craft behind the visuals: we created the picture frames entirely in 3D and carefully worked on the classic paintings to ensure they retained their original texture and resolution, despite heavy visual manipulation.The challenge was to respect the integrity of timeless artworks while seamlessly integrating contemporary design, proving that great craft, like great design, is truly timeless, even when it’s affordable.
