ABOUT

I'm very excited to share with you our latest studio project Nantes, a micro-short/love letter. It's a hand-drawn animation with an illustrative style as a nod to French graphic novels, about my hometown to which I'm coming back to and revisiting as an adult. Nantes is a highly creative city and has always been - there is strong support in arts, live music and community initiatives as well as strange installations, lively events happening everywhere and very welcoming people. Like a lot of other places currently, it is a model under attack with cuts to funding and, in the hope of decentralising the artistic and creative focus from Paris, I wanted to put a spotlight on this great city and follow the steps of previous artists here through making my own addition to the lovely strangeness of the city.
