ABOUT
### Concept
At Studio Lutalica, we gravitate towards clients who are quietly (and not so quietly) changing the story. Work & Class are exactly that kind of partner: a creative agency built by working‑class people, for working‑class communities, and part of Ready Media Group.
They came to us looking for a brand and website that could do two things at once. First, speak directly to working‑class audiences who are usually treated as an afterthought in campaigns. Second, give potential clients a clear sense that Work & Class are serious strategists as well as culture‑shapers.
Our shared goal was to create a visual and digital identity that felt grounded in real organising, not a borrowed “gritty” aesthetic. The brand needed to feel proud, accessible and flexible enough to hold everything from campaign work to community insight.

#### Branding
We started by digging into the histories and futures of working‑class organising: strike posters, hand‑drawn placards, community banners, street photography and present‑day campaigns calling out the cost of living crisis. At Studio Lutalica, this kind of research is our comfort zone — it helps us build brands that feel lived‑in rather than invented in a boardroom.
From there, we developed a bold, typography‑led identity where language is front and centre. Short, punchy lines are set in a condensed, high‑impact headline font that’s designed to hold space next to press photography, social graphics and campaign slogans.
The colour palette leans into brightness without tipping into gloss. A strong yellow carries a sense of optimism and energy, supported by fresh greens and warm oranges. Softer tones sit in the background to keep layouts accessible and readable. The end result is a system that can shout when it needs to, but still feels welcoming.
Stickers became one of our favourite devices on this project. At Studio Lutalica, we use them as little containers for voice: different shapes and type treatments that echo protest stickers and DIY flyers. In the Work & Class toolkit, these stickers help surface different community voices, key facts and calls to action across both print and digital.
#### Website
On the digital side, we designed and developed the Work & Class site in Webflow. At Studio Lutalica, we’re big believers in modular builds, so we created a set of reusable sections and components that the team can re‑arrange without touching a single line of code.
The UX is deliberately straightforward. Clear navigation, focused page templates and flexible content blocks make it easy to:
- Introduce who Work & Class are and who they stand alongside
- Share services in plain language
- Publish new campaigns, case studies and press quickly
The UI carries the brand language through: bold type, sticker moments, strong colour and plenty of breathing room so the stories take the lead. Everything is responsive, so the experience feels consistent whether someone discovers Work & Class via mobile social scroll or desktop deep‑dive.

### Results
For Work & Class, the collaboration with Studio Lutalica has resulted in:
- A brand identity that reflects their roots in working‑class culture, without turning it into a costume
- A digital home that explains their offer clearly to potential partners and clients
- A flexible system of layouts, stickers and colour that can stretch across future campaigns and channels
- A Webflow site they can update themselves as their work and community continue to grow
At Studio Lutalica, we talk a lot about building “digital infrastructure” for our clients — not just making something beautiful and leaving. For Work & Class, that has meant a brand and website that can keep evolving alongside the communities they champion, while giving them the professional credibility and visibility they deserve.
