Data Based Consultancy wanted me to create an icon and as the owner wanted me to use a monospaced typeface akin to programming language this is the brand I designed. The icon represented the first letters of the company name ‘Data Based Consultancy’.
As this is such an iconic but dated typeface it was tricky to design to meet the client brief yet keep the branding up to date and professional.
The final design straddles the two worlds well, using a modern colour palette as a great way to keep everything fresh.
