Cleanship was founded in 2012 by Chris McMenemy and John MacSween, as a spin-off from Malin Group.

With over 100 years of experience in the shipping industry, Malin Group provided an optimum incubator for the early stages of the Cleanship journey, with the Cleanship team cuttings its teeth on some exciting early retrofit projects.
