ABOUT

Sky Bet’s Super Week campaign marks another exciting collaboration between Sky Bet’s internal creative team and The Banquet, continuing a partnership built on creativity, trust, and bold ambition. Super Week, which takes place four times a year, brings together a thrilling convergence of major sporting events—from Christmas football and horse racing to darts, NFL, and headline boxing matches like the Usyk v Fury rematch.

The brief was clear: showcase how Sky Bet is super sizing its offers during these high-energy periods, and do so with visual flair and impact. The campaign bursts with dynamic energy, captured through vibrant yellow highlights and imaginative storytelling, immersing audiences in a world where the excitement of Super Week feels larger than life.

Director Ian Roderick Gray approached the project as a series of mini-films, each with its own distinct character but unified through a naturalistic style that emphasised the extraordinary within the everyday. Working alongside DoP Joe Douglas (Wizzo & Co), Production Designer Zoe Koperski (Vision Artists), and VFX Supervisor Noah Kayma (LMNTL), The Banquet team meticulously blended real-world sets with high-end VFX to create a seamless, exhilarating visual experience.

Producer Adham Hunt reflected on the production’s challenges, tight budgets, fast turnarounds, and the need for multiple deliverables, but credited the success to the strength of the team and partners involved. In his words, they "Super Sized what we could deliver."

Sky Bet’s Creative Principal Adam Edworthy echoed the sentiment, praising the collaboration and creative alignment throughout the project.

Following standout campaigns like "Start of Season," "Road to World Cup," and Cheltenham 2024, this Super Week campaign further cements The Banquet’s reputation as a trusted creative production partner, consistently delivering high-impact, high-energy work that brings Sky Bet’s bold vision to life.
