THE BRIEF
To produce my own custom typeface to be used in various future projects for both myself and others designers and typographers.

THE PROJECT
From combining straight lines and circles to create ornate shapes, I began developing these into eventual letter forms.

This exercise resulted in the production of Jackknife, a display typeface that's been methodically designed in both bold and regular variations. All the letters try to share a common characteristic and glyphs with single vertical stems have been tapered with a 'knife' edge, hence the name of the font.
