A personal piece which is pondering the existence of the Queer soul. I feel the queer body is heavily visualised and notions of queerness are usually channeled through the body but I was wanting to try and capture more of a soul/essence devoid of physicality as I feel focusing on our bodies has dangerous connotations and projects certain stereotypes about the Queer community.

I decided to look into nature and try and heritage landmarks for spiritual symbolism. Building a fake history for the Queer experience that follows the path of other cultures.
