About me

I have worked in training and L&D for over 10 years and have set up, managed and ran numerous and vastly different, multiple training projects/strategies, from initial planning stage through to full testing and implementation, ensuring the full training life cycle is as a smooth as possible. Also completing detailed training needs analysis and interventions, when required. I am very eager to put my excellent written and verbal communication skills to work in a fast-paced, buzzing company.

In my role as Program Tutor, I was engaged on a daily basis with Senior Managers of Royal Mail's Deliveries, Mail Centre's and Logistics. Royal Mail's Together for Growth program is about changing minds, using soft skills, to drive the business forward, using models such as Myers Briggs (MBTI), 70/20/10, TKI and various highly interactive tools.

I have tailored specific training seminars to individual requirements by assessing individual learning needs and adapting seminars to suit and to gain the best possible results. These seminars have been on and off site and through live streaming online (virtual/e-learning), in an auditorium.

I have designed ad hoc training seminars for classroom attendees, in MS office and other subjects. I have been a freelance trainer in MS office for a number of years.

You'll see from the attached CV that I'm diligent, creative and adept at delivering to tight deadlines. Having built and run L&D/Training Departments, as well as vast experience in e-learning in my previous careers, I offer valuable practical experience to back up my strong organisational credentials.

A few examples:

Created and ran the Training Department - complete set up, including policies, procedures and numerous training guides/videos

Developed and maintained training/support documentation to run alongside one to one training, using such tools as Camtasia, Microsoft, Adobe Captivate and web building tools, as well as online training and e-learning

Fortnightly Training webinars (seminars) for clients to join online, to gain knowledge of 'how to', using different software packages

Implementation of new, and changes to, all training content - online and offline content

Storyboards - developed and maintained using various different tools

CPE/CPD (e-learning/virtual learning) designed and implemented effectively
