ABOUT

I was commissioned by the prestigious Mount Kelly School in Tavistock, Devon to create a short narrative marketing film. The purpose was to boost their profile and showcase this amazing School, it's beautiful setting on the edge of Dartmoor and the comprehensive facilities and pedigree on offer to prospective students. The client expressed they wanted a film with the "look and feel of a John Lewis ad". I planned,scripted, Directed and DP'd the project which included a 3 day shoot on site at Mount Kelly School, with a mixture of 4k and HD shots, filmed on the Sony FS7 and Canon 5dmk3. I also oversaw extensive aerial shots using a DJI Inspire drone, co-piloting the drone to capture the swooping, dynamic aerial views seen in the film. I edited the project on FCP using Film Convert for the grade. The client was extremely happy with the finished film, which they have promoted heavily online and they've also expressed interest in a "local cinemas" release for the film.
