About me

Steve Aldridge is Chief Creative Officer at Wunderman Thompson. Steve is known for being a creative champion, a successful business founder and an effective network leader. Steve first started at Wunderman in 2019 and since then the Creative Department have won over 80 awards.

He co-founded the creative agency, Partners Andrews Aldridge. The agency redefined consumer engagement from a creative perspective when it started. Steve's ability to integrate people, business and clients around ideas, helped to shape the agency. He believes Ideas are everything. And not just executional ideas, business transformation ideas too

Steve created a huge legacy at PAA. The agency won over 200 awards. Being named Agency of the decade once and Agency of the year twice, as well as being shortlisted for Campaign Agency of the year 14 out of 19 years. Partners created some iconic work, often changing or redefining the category.

The agency became part of the Engine Group in 2008. A full-service agency group, Engine very quickly took advantage of Steve's understanding of brand and his ability to build a creative culture. He spent the last 9 years as Executive Creative Director of Engine, leading clients such as BMW, Rolls-Royce, BACS and The Department of International Trade.

His mantra, "None of us is as creative as all of us", means that everyone contributes and their opinions count. His approach is to nurture inclusivity and collaboration, building teams that want to work together. He himself builds strong relationships with clients as well as agency teams, believing the closer you are to the client, the better the work.

He left Engine in 2018 and was involved in a series of short-term creative projects as a creative consultant working with a number of creative companies and clients direct, advising them on their marketing & business strategy in the UK and internationally.
