ABOUT

The Brief /
Develop a logo, branding, merchandise and artwork for the forthcoming single of ‘wonky’ electronic music duo Gilligan Moss. Their sound is seeped in rave culture of the early ‘90s, and they wanted that joyous, euphoric era heavily represented in their identity.

The Solution /
Capturing the aesthetics, spontaneity and living in the moment attitude of the rave scene, we raised our arms in the air, as if we didn’t care, and embraced the ‘Smiley’ badge. Bringing a modern twist to this iconic emblem, it became the ‘Gilli’ badge, a celebration of music and expressing joy. This vitality became the guiding rainbow spirit of the brand.
