About me
I am a Globally renowned and widely respected Creative Director / Design Manager and Designer, with extensive international experience, and over 250 projects under my belt. I am mentioned in Wikipedia, as well as many books and publications.
I have travelled the World, where I have designed and developed a multitude of products from a key to a multi-million-dollar full flight training simulator.
I have lived in Malaysia, Holland, Germany, Brazil, Sweden, Thailand & China. As well as living in many Countries, I have also worked in the US, South Africa, France & Australia, where in total I have learnt much about people, products, culture, psychology & behaviour.
My working philosophy is in actual fact about looking, asking the right questions (especially 'Why'
More importantly you learn to immerse yourself into a subject or the company values / Brand culture, to understand all aspects of the task. It involves blending and creating a platform where the views, ideas and opinions, can all be shared.
Then lead and inspire the teams to open their minds and listen to all of the inputs from focus groups, end users, technical teams, business managers, marketers and PR groups, to ultimately provide added value to the proposition whilst gaining modernising efficiencies.
Meanwhile also, as I have been successful before, being the senior who develops the team to thrive, progress and mentor them to hone their skills and talents. To create a work environment where good health and wellbeing, encourage & improve standards, be more innovative, expand and become more inclusive, diverse and sustainable.
I have been a keen educator, providing Mentoring, Study-Courses and Work Placements for over 30 students. With that in mind, with my age, one of my key attributes is I have the ability to take on Senior roles, but during that time, assess the strengths and weaknesses of the team and the Companies culture, to then mentor them to be grow to be able to become more capable for progression.
I have been a Senior University Lecturer and visiting Tutor, and now can include winning, and again after appeal, in a very successful case for being an Expert Witness in a recent high-profile Trademark dispute.
I am fit and healthy (I run most days between kms), adaptable, enthusiastic and experienced in a wide variety of disciplines. I am a qualified Engineer, am Innovative, with a keen eye for detail, proportion and harmony.
I always enjoy a fresh challenge in any field which I could make a difference, which would involve my previous experiences, skills and abilities
