About Stephanie
I have recently completed a BA Honours Degree in Lens Based Photo Media at Hull School of Art and Design, and have been working as a freelance photographer for the past year. I also have a keen interest in design and visual communication.
My work experience has involved organising photo shoots and taking photographs for a variety of projects. This has included fashion photography and artwork, including portraits. I involve myself in all aspects of the process including post production editing. In addition to this, I aim to achieve a high standard of artistic imagery, and, as well as computer software, I am also interested in the effects which can be achieved by more traditional hand finishing. My experience includes taking photographs and editing them for use in the Tickled Pink charity calendar. I have also taken photographs and edited them for an album cover for a local band, as well as taking photographs for several bands in the London area. For the majority of my editing work I use Adobe Photoshop, however I have some experience of using other editing programmes, such as Final Cut. As a freelance photographer, I also have some knowledge of marketing, and the use of social networking to attract business, and in addition I also have experience of creating and maintaining my own website.
I have excellent organisational skills and am very adaptable and quick to learn new skills. As part of my time at university I have become accustomed to producing, filling and collating paperwork to support a variety of projects. As a creative person I am aware of the importance of attention to detail which I feel would be useful whilst working within your company.
Much of my work experience has been in a customer facing environment and I have developed excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. This work has usually required working to set deadlines. I have excellent IT skills and experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
I feel that I could make a valuable contribution to the success of your company. I work very well under pressure, and in addition to this, I am very hard working and strive to achieve very high standards with both myself and my work.
