About me
I was due to start working at Jaeger as an Assistant Garment Technologist before the Covid outbreak but they could not honour the offer. My working experience includes time at ASOS where I gained fashion admin experience, Victoria's Secret where I measured customers regularly, and City and Guilds where I gained general office experience.
I am looking for an opportunity to stretch my current skills and learn new ones. I believe this role will allow me to be able to use my experience within admin, project planning, and my organisation and time-management skills I gained throughout my degree and working experience. My work experience and degree have enabled me to develop my skills which I believe are necessary for this role. I have experience in:
- Confidently and accurately measured customers. Ensuring fit is as accurate as possible reduce customer returns. Provide clear, concise and accurate comments to customers to understand what makes a good fit and the benefits of having a correctly fitted garment.
- Conducting fit sessions and owning the fitting process. Analysing technical issues accurately and implemented technical skills and creative solutions to improve issues.
- Working in an extremely fast-paced environment. Managing to balance workload through multitasking, ability to prioritise tasks, and time-management in order to meet tight deadlines.
- Updating tech packs including: product safety, specification sheets, bill of materials, cost sheets, range plans, layplans, order of assembly, and fabric samples.
- Pro-active in handling enquiries and deal with issues with tact and diplomacy. Experience in working with different cultures and using effective communication skills to build professional relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Gained behind the scenes insight in online fashion sales and experienced a creative business environment.
These experiences have taught me to think on my feet and enhance my adaptability in fast-paced environments. As well as being eager to learn, I hope to add value. I am a good timekeeper and communicator; I am reliable and presentable, and willing to contribute my best in whatever I'm asked to do.
