About me

As you can see from my resume, I have experience in a busy garment printing company that prints upto 48,000 products in just 2 weeks. Here I had the position of Artworker, this involved receiving artwork from the customer and preparing it for print (converting to vectors, working on EPS files, using clipping masks to correspond with printers etc.). I often had to completely redraw certain designs so they become workable with the print packages. I am very experienced in the Adobe suite; Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS3, Quark Xpress and Corel draw to a lesser extent. I have completed orders for some large companies such as RBS, T-Mobile, Natwest and Brands Hatch amongst others. This has trained me to have very good attention to detail and time management skills.

Although programmes and machinery are likely to be slightly different in these varied organisations I am fully trained on 4 colour vinyl print and cutter machines (Roland Versa Camm) and single colour cutter and plotters. I have had minimal training and introduction to the sign making business directly and feel confident I can transfer my experience to fit the role you are advertising.

I am a lively, hard-working person and would love the opportunity to work in a business that allows me to use my initiative and requires a 'hands-on' approach. I am very creative, I enjoy illustrating and photography in my spare time and I wish to find a more design orientated role after I have built up a strong print-based backgro
