ABOUT
The brief for the project materialized over multiple zoom calls and recces to the location of the site. The client was very particular in showing the strength and the capability of the factory. However, maintaining the true aesthetics of the film, was always a big challenge. Considering the place was getting built up at the time of recce; a lot had to be designed on the shot division and the principal cinematography to make the content look good. The workers and others at the factory were very co-operative and have delivered their best etiquettes to help us move around and get the broad overview of the working environment as well.
It was a great experience working with this client, his remarks were always to the point and made sense as to the initial brief of the project. Despite working during the pandemic and having to do away with many physical meetups with either the crew or the client, we were all on the same page on the day of the shoot. In fact, we wrapped up before time and managed to get additional b-rolls of the site.
As a creative director, I designed the script, the visual treatment and directed the video with a team that's quick on its feet and was spontaneous enough to play around with some natural alterations to the light and schedules.
