Singer/Songwriter Tomi Owo approached me to make cover art and a moving image for single titled Night Rain. After listening to the song and absorbing the brief, I went ahead to create. I began with sketch mock ups to establish a composition and then I started to make my own background textures using foil paper and a heat press. The circle in the middle is a digital edit of water colour painting by my colleague Cassidy Mosses.
The idea was to create the fluid feature of water and the calming feel of rain that encompasses the mood of the song.
