Dear Sir or Madam,

I am a recent graduate from the New York Film Academy and am writing to apply for the Assistant Content Producer opportunity posted on Creativepool. I have just completed a Master's degree in Film and Media Production and spent one year working on independent short and feature films in Los Angeles and would love to put my producing skills at your service.

My experience working as a producer, first and second assistant director, and unit production manager on several independent short and feature films in Los Angeles has given me a good understanding of film production requirements. Whether on set or at a desk during each step of production, I am most fulfilled when contributing to the team effort and making sure we complete quality work in a timely manner. I am hard-working and I am used to working under pressure. In LA, I was often called for jobs as an assistant director because of my ability to remain calm and focused in any situation and to communicate effectively with the team. I have experience with all aspects of film production, from pitching and breaking down the script to budgeting, scheduling, managing locations, creating a transmedia campaign and supervising post-production. During my internship at SteakHous Productions, I was in charge of managing the invoicing and payment process as well as accounting for current projects.

My work as a research assistant at the Lokahi Foundation and the Kurt Salmon Consulting Firm have given me an opportunity to work with a team of researchers and confronted me to the need of meeting our clients' expectations. I was in charge of creating presentations both for our team meetings and for our clients. At the Lokahi Foundation, I was the main project manager and was in charge of scheduling, contacting focus group respondents, coordinating communication between departments, and conducting desk research. In addition to my concentration at the New York Film Academy, I have completed a Master of Science in Public Policy and Administration at the London School of Economics and Political Science. During the completion of my program in political science, I acquired skills that have proven to be useful in my filmmaking career: strong public speaking skills - especially useful to keep a crew inspired and motivated even towards the end of a 12 hours night shoot -, rigour, and attention to details.

I am confident that my international background and adaptability, as well as my training both in film production and in public policy and administration have given me all the skills I need to contribute positively to the development of your company.
