About me
My name is Sophie Dloussky.
I was born on August 2, 1989, in Marseille, France.
I grew up and still live in Nice, surrounded by the sea, the sun and a certain sweetness of life.
I've studied literature and languages. That is how I developed a taste for poetry, rhythm and choosing words precisely. I opened myself to other cultures and to the expression of what one can feel deep inside. I speak French, English, and Russian.
Images, which are another kind of language, have always interested me. Emotions are perceived there in a direct and physical way.
I studied in Art and Cinema schools in Montpellier (ESBA), as well as in Lausanne and Geneva, Switzerland (ECAL/HEAD). I practice drawing, digital and analog photography, collage, video, and animation.
My love for art books led me to pursue training in Graphic Design, a field that combines my interest in text and image. I bring all the skills I have acquired formerly to the graphic projects I work on.
Finally, I have worked extensively in trade and have traveled in the context of my artistic practice. These experiences have made me pragmatic, observant and responsive.
