Concept

I represented the UK in a Cabaïa artist collaboration bringing together illustrators from across Europe to design detachable backpack pockets. Cabaïa selected fruit illustrations from my existing portfolio, recognising them as a strong expression of my creative style. The brief was to develop these into an exclusive repeat pattern, creating new illustrations to sit alongside the original motifs and form a cohesive, bold design.

Execution

I created the artwork digitally, developing the fruit motifs into a repeat pattern and presenting several colourway options. Working closely with the Cabaïa team, I refined the palette and scale through a series of feedback rounds, balancing the playful character of my illustrations with the proportions of the finished pocket.

Results

The pocket launched and sold out, bringing my artwork to a new audience through a functional, customisable accessory. A giveaway supporting the collaboration also helped attract over 1,000 new followers to my account, increasing visibility for Philosophie Studio and introducing more people to my illustration work.
